Safeway and Salvation Army Team Up for July 24 Kids Care Fair
The Town of Sahuarita will have a table featuring Parks and Recreation information, and the Sahuarita Police Explorer Post will also showcase its activities for teenagers. Other local organizations and businesses will participate to promote healthy and happy activities for children and families.
In preparation for this event, organizers are collecting new school supplies at the Green Valley and Sahuarita Safeway Stores, Commerce Bank of Arizona, Green Valley/Sahuarita Chamber of Commerce, and the Salvation Army located at 660 West Camino Casa Verde in Green Valley.
Volunteers are needed for handing out school supplies and backpacks, sign-in, refreshments, balloons, face painting, and other fun activities. If you would like to volunteer, contact Peggy Terlisner, Safeway Assistant Store Manager at 648-2847.
