Court Fines/Fees
Fines:
Fines are monetary obligations assessed by statute or town ordinances. Court fines may include fines, fees, surcharges and restitution. The Civil Traffic Bond Card given to you when you received your citation will give you some options of how to handle your citation. If you did not receive a bond card, click on the underlined bond card above and you will be able to review your options.
Fees:
Fees are monetary obligations that are for a specific service. They are covered by statute or by town ordinances.
Payments:
Payments can be made by cash, check, money order or cashier’s check.
Credit card payments are accepted with a fee as follows:
IN-PERSON CREDIT/DEBIT CARD PROCESSING FEES ARE AS FOLLOWS:
DEBIT:
Processing fee of $2.50 per transaction
Maximum charge per debit is $5,000.00
CREDIT:
$2.50 per transaction up to $50.00.
Over $50.00 will incur up to a 4% processing fee
Maximum charge per credit is $5,000.00
At this time we are unable to accept VISA issued credit cards for in-person transactions. We now accept the following credit cards: Discover, American Express and MasterCard.

Any payments made via web or telephone will be charged a $6.00 fee to the debit/credit card total. Visa credit cards are accepted over the web or phone payments only for a $6.00 fee.
