Family Fun Night ~ July 21, 2012 ~ 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. ~ North Santa Cruz Park
The Town of Sahuarita Parks and Recreation Department will be celebrating National Parks and Recreation month in a big way! This year’s Family Fun Night will be a Concert in the Park featuring Giant Blue. There will also be food vendors, jumping castles, Parks and Rec program info, and much much more! Join us for some wholesome family fun!
Canoe Days ~ August 2012 ~ Sahuarita Lake Park
This event takes place at the south end of Sahuarita Lake, weather permitting. Canoe days is a FREE family event that is presented in partnership with Boy Scout Troop 301 and Rancho Sahuarita. Canoes will be provided for free use.
Fiesta Sahuarita ~ September 29, 2012 ~ Anamax Park
Fiesta Sahuarita is our signature event of the year and celebrates the Town's birthday. Join us for this 18th annual celebration! There will be numerous vendors, merchants, eateries, games, bouncers, demonstrations, and much more!
Pumpkin Patch and Chili Cook-Off ~ October 2012 ~ Rancho Sahuarita Clubhouse
The Town of Sahuarita Parks and Recreation and Rancho Sahuarita are proud to offer you this fun fall event. Enter your chili recipe in our annual chili cook-off for a chance at some great prizes. You can also get your carving pumpkins, take a hay ride, and enjoy some great family fun.
Winter Fest ~ December, 2012 ~ Sahuarita Lake Park
Fishing Clinic ~ 2013 ~ Sahuarita Lake Park
As part of Arizona's Urban Fishing Program under the Arizona State Game and Fish Department, the Town will be hosting its Family Fun Fishing Day in partnership with Rancho Sahuarita. This is a family event where people can come out to Sahuarita Lake Park and fish for free. Fishing poles will be available for free use and all fishing license fees will be waived for the day. Farm-raised channel catfish and rainbow trout will be stocked.
Spring Festival ~ April 2013
Come celebrate the start of Spring at our annual Spring Festival! There will be games, food, and an egg hunt for the kids. Even the Easter Bunny will be there to join in on the fun!
